The Switch Macquarie Park

Project Overview

Taylor is delivering the design and construction of The Switch Macquarie Park for Nuveen Real Estate, a new 15-storey, purpose-built student accommodation development in the heart of Macquarie Park.

The project will provide 491 apartments, including studio rooms and three-, four- and five-bedroom configurations, supported by extensive communal amenities such as shared lounges and kitchens, a gym, study pods, end-of-trip facilities and basement parking. The 5-Star Green Star building reflects a strong focus on sustainable design.

As the first Switch facility in Sydney and the fourth nationally, the development responds to growing demand for high-quality student accommodation near Macquarie University, which hosts more than 44,000 students, delivering a well-connected living, learning and social environment for residents.
