Project Overview
The Sydney Metro West Linewide Package is a critical component of the Sydney Metro West program, delivering the rail systems and network‑wide infrastructure required to enable operations across the new 24‑kilometre underground metro railway connecting the Sydney and Parramatta CBDs through to Westmead.
The Linewide scope includes delivery of approximately 60- kilometres of track, high and low voltage electrical systems, 25 kV traction power, communications and control systems, and key operational facilities such as the Stabling and Maintenance Facility, Operations Control Centre, and Rosehill Service Facility. These works are essential to transforming individual station and tunnelling packages into a fully integrated, operational metro railway.
The project represents a major investment in Sydney’s transport network and forms part of one of Australia’s most significant public transport expansions.
