Project Overview

The project involves the redevelopment of Penrith Stadium, a major NSW Government investment designed to enhance the game‑day experience for fans and players while supporting the needs of Western Sydney’s rapidly growing community. The upgraded venue will create a world‑class facility capable of hosting NRL and NRLW matches, live music and large‑scale entertainment events, while establishing a multi‑use precinct that supports sport, community activity and year‑round visitation.

The redevelopment will deliver improved spectator amenities, upgraded player and team facilities, enhanced accessibility, expanded community spaces and modernised event infrastructure. The project aims to foster sports growth, create shared public spaces and elevate the overall visitor experience for events, conferences and cultural activities.

As a key piece of Western Sydney’s cultural and sporting infrastructure, the Penrith Stadium Redevelopment strengthens the region’s capacity to host major events, supports local economic activity and provides a contemporary, inclusive venue that reflects the aspirations of the broader community. Its combination of precinct‑wide improvements, operational upgrades and community‑focused design underscores the project’s significance for the region’s future.
