Project Overview

Due to the confidential nature of the project, only limited information can be disclosed. iCOST was engaged to identify, measure, bill, rate and submit a series of Design Change Variations within a highly compressed timeframe. Working within strict security parameters, the team managed a substantial volume of drawing sets, rapidly absorbing and analysing design data to detect deviations from the original miniature with potential cost and time implications.

iCOST prepared detailed Bills of Quantities (BoQs), applied accurate cost rates and compiled Variation Claims for upstream submission, ensuring clarity, compliance and efficiency throughout the process. The engagement required disciplined methodology, precision in measurement, and a streamlined approach to managing complex design changes under significant time pressure.

As a sensitive defence‑sector assignment, the project demanded a high level of discretion, technical rigour and responsiveness. iCOST’s ability to quickly interpret design shifts, quantify impacts and deliver compliant variation documentation underscores the team’s capability in managing complex, fast‑moving and security‑restricted project environments.
