Project Overview
Taylor was awarded the Melrose Park Public School – Design and Construct Main Works Contract by School Infrastructure. As a trusted delivery partner of School Infrastructure, this project continues Taylor’s strong track record of delivering high-quality educational environments across New South Wales, reinforcing Taylor’s commitment to connecting people and spaces and creating places where students, educators, and communities thrive. Located at 110 Wharf Road, Melrose Park, the redevelopment will support up to 751 primary students and a 60-place public preschool, responding to the area’s rapid urban renewal and population growth.
The new campus will include a one-storey preschool building, two three-storey teaching buildings comprising 32 classrooms, and three support learning units, amenities, and service cores. The project also features a two-storey administration and library building, a one-storey hall with amenities, a canteen, and an out of school hours care (OSHC) facility, as well as two carparks and extensive landscaping. The works will involve the decommissioning of demountable buildings and the removal of redundant infrastructure.
All facilities will be designed and built to meet the Educational Facilities Standards and Guidelines (EFSG), achieve a 5-Star Green Star rating, and deliver flexible, inclusive, and safe learning spaces. The project reinforces Taylor’s ongoing partnership with School Infrastructure and its dedication to delivering innovative, sustainable, and community-focused educational spaces.
