Project Overview
The project involves the development of a state of the art data centre campus within the Marsden Park Industrial Precinct in Sydney’s North West, designed to support the rapidly growing demand for AI ready digital infrastructure. When complete, the facility will be the largest data centre campus in the Southern Hemisphere, comprising six four storey data centre buildings, each capable of accommodating 24 data halls, along with ancillary office space and high performance operational facilities.
Key features of the development include a total ICT capacity of 504MW, a dedicated 720MVA onsite substation to ensure always on availability, 20.1 hectares of secured land, extensive security infrastructure, and landscaped surrounds. The project is expected to generate more than 10,000 jobs over the life of the campus construction and will support cloud, classical compute, high performance compute and AI related workloads.
As one of the largest digital infrastructure investments in the region, the project plays a critical role in strengthening Australia’s data resilience and enabling the continued expansion of the digital economy.
